Sooo you remember the post +Sharla in Japan put up where she told us all about a cat in a pet store she was really worried about... Well she posted an update!
Isn't Miko cute!!! Post possible name idea's if you want and I'll pass them on to Sharla.
Here is the next episode of the story!
Do you think Miko runs differently? I have had cats that ran like that but I always thought it just made the uniquely strange like me!!!
Well that's all for now... I'll post Miko's next update when I see it posted by Sharla!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading my posts!
Today I'm sharing with you some more of my favorite songs.... Yeah I have a lot of those!!!
I feel like this song gets you right in the heart... What girl or guy hasn't felt they were not good enough for someone else??? In this song I feel she is saying I shouldn't let them beat me because I'm good enough as I am... But that is just my interpretation...
What's yours?
Now for those of you who have ever felt dead inside or don't want to forget what it feels like to have emotions... This song might fit your mood better!
I have been there... It is NO fun being locked up inside your own mind!
So this week as you can see I chose Evanescence for the band I shared... For a long time their music was all that I listened to. They have a wide range of possible meanings to their music and I feel like everyone can connect with them on some level.
Are there any bands or groups you feel that way about?
You should let me know and I will feature a song or two of theirs sometime!
I'll end this post here... Hope you liked the music!!!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading my post!
Today it's lesson day... I thought that just like last time I would do this lesson a little different.... There are so many manners in Japan that are hard to understand especially if you have never gone there... So today I am going to bring +tomoko tomoko's video about how to bow to your attention!
Here it is...
I never would have guessed this in a million years... And probably would have made major mistakes the first time I ever went to Japan! Thank you SOOOOOO much Tomoko for making it harder for us to mess up when we try to bow!
I don't know about you all but I LOVE learning new things about the Japanese culture! I can't get enough! They have such an amazing way of doing things. Maybe next time I will have a language lesson but I also think I may do more posts like these too...
I hope you enjoyed learning about how to bow in Japan!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I post!
First before I share the music with you I'm going to clarify what "A Capella" music is...
A cappella [a kapˈpɛlla] (Italian for "in the manner of the chapel") music is specifically group or solo singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. It contrasts with cantata, which is accompanied singing.
With that being said... It doesn't mean there is no music with the voices... If the voices make the music and sing the words it still works and fits this category!
Here is the music that had taken my world by storm one day... I want to share it with you now!
First up...
I love this group!!! In this wonderful video we see some of their unique style of not only their singing but also their fashion sense for the videos! Truly wonderful in every way... And who knew that a human could produce such music!!!
Here is another example of their amazing talents!
In this one they are dressed more normal but again wow with that talent of theirs!!!
I hope you enjoyed listening to them as much as I enjoyed sharing the music with you!!!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading my post!
That's right... It's lesson time! But this time I don't want to just have a Japanese language lesson... Which is what I usually do... But this time I want to teach something else!
So here is a video from +tomoko tomoko that will help you if you are visiting a Japanese household!
The awesome part about this video is that not only do you learn a bit of culture but there are bits of Japanese language being taught to you throughout the video!
I'll make a list of some of them here for you... Some will be single words and others will be phrases... I'm not writing everything down for you though... There will be some things you need to watch the video to learn how to write and read and if you want to know the proper way to say these things you deffinitly have to watch the video because I don't think I'm good enough to try to say them for you!
Japanese List!
ありがとう。ようこちゃん、いきまーす!
Arigatou. Youko chan, ikimaasu!
Thank you. Yoko, I'm coming!
NOTE: いきまーす has ー in it but it isn't actually part of the word. It represents an elongated sound. the correct word is いきます: ikimasu.
OK... this is a lot to take in... so I'm going to end the list here even though there was a lot more in the video... Hope you want to check it out because it really is a great one!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I share!
Omg it has been forever since they put one up!!! Here is what Rachel has to say!
Rachel you have great skin so no need to worry! We look forward to all you wonderful videos!!!
If you haven't a clue who the second cat that she is talking about here are the videos for that! Caution the first one has a bit of an ouch factor so if you can't handle seeing hurt animals don't watch it.
Poor kitty!!!
Here is the next one...
I'm so happy the kiddy Poki is doing better!
If you want to donate something small, They set up a fundraiser here:
Well I have to end this on a better note than the last video... Although it's good Poki is doing better I thought maybe a cosplay be +Rachel & Jun would be a good way to end.
I think I have showed this one before but I really like it so I'm showing it again!
That's all for now! Hope you didn't get too sad during this video set!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading my post!!!
NOTE: My blog posts are going to be moved one at a time from the main blog to this vlog~blog for a bit on the days I don't have any planned posts... This will make it easier for me to move them... So the date it was originally written is shown in the post title... sorry for any confusion!
OH BOY!!! I am sooooooo not going to have enough time to write like I want to today... I have a n appointment and won't be back till after the time i'm supposed to post... So I'll share some videos I've wanted to bring to your attention along with one that +Texan in Tokyo just put out!
We will start with a view of a beautiful boat ride +Rachel & Jun posted...
Thank You Rachel!
Now for a a "Toy" review? I'm not sure if this is a toy in Japan or just how this snack comes... But it is cool so please check out the video +Texan in Tokyo made to show it to us!
Those look yummy!!! Not sure about the taste... Gonna have to try it for yourself to figure it out! Thank you Grace!!!
Now for a change of pace +Strawberry Mochi shows us all about how to be a YouTuber!!!
So much info!!! Thank you Kelly!!!
Now to follow up with this... And possibly help you with it... +Sharla in Japan Shared a video on her Sharmander Page about editing videos! Here it is...
This looks like it would be cool even if you're not editing it for a YouTube channel!
The last one is a "Day in my Life" one from Grace... here it is!
Hope you like them all... This was actually longer than I thought I would manage! YAY!
That's all for now!! Don't forget to check out the Review tomorrow!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading my post!
Hmmm since I love to share videos with you all it seems like this is going to be the main Blog I write in! I don't think this is a bad thing but I kind of feel sad for my main blog!
But since I love sharing videos I really wanted to share this one with you when I saw it!
It was so cool that she was on the show even if it didn't get aired on TV... Way to go Grace!
I would have laughed if I was in the audience when they were in shock from the PDA... And I probably would have been just like you guys if I was in the show... I think it's cute Ryosuke wasn't embarrassed to kiss you!
Anyhow.. You did amazing hun! Thanx so much for sharing it with us all!
I'm going to end here..
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I share!
Lol sooo ya... Music Madness Monday seems to be a thing for me now... Maybe I should make it an expected post?
However I'm not going to keep track of the music I share (cause I can't seem to convince myself it's really a good idea to) and that means I may share some songs more than once...
Hope you don't mind!
And now...
What you have all been waiting for...
On with the fun!!!
Here is your musical diddy for this Monday of madness!!!
That was cute right! Bump of Chicken is the group playing in this video with Hatsune Miku!
Here is another one for you!!! This one however doesn't have Hatsune Miku in it but...
Wow the visual is great!!!
Hope you enjoyed the music!!!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I post!
I'm not used to writing a post that doesn't have the announcement when Friday comes... So i'm a little unsure what I should be writing right now... I thought maybe I would "wing it" and see how it goes.
Be it good or bad that is how it will be... Kind of like this angel woman... Yin and Yang all at once!
So here is something I found interesting... Because it's singing I figure it's ok to share...
It Blew me away!
Yea I know... I don't usually post auditions... But come on... How often do the people who are greeting and interviewing the applicants run up and do this to someone????
If you thought I'd spill what they do then you were wrong... Watch the video till the end to see!
This post seems so short without the announcement... Soooo... I'm gonna post one more video!
Here is a little Japanese Culture for you that is fun to watch!
Just a tour for you to enjoy today... It's not a rushed day but I have a few sick children around the house today so I am not spending much time on here.
I would really like to go to one of these some day! How about you? Would you like to go to one too?
Today I am rushed even though my blog is posted later in the day now... My hubby is away from home and I have to get everyone up and moving soooo early in the morning that it leaves me drained for a few hours after they are all where they need to be! Thank goodness hubby will be home soon!
But now to solve today's blog post dilemma! I'm going to post a "Day in my life" Vlog that +Sharla in Japan put up for us!
I want to visit a few of these places too... It looks so fun!
Well that's all I'm posting for today!
Sorry it was so short!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I post!
Have an amazing day and don't forget to check out the review tomorrow!
+Sharla in Japan showing us how to unwrap an Onigiri (rice ball) from a convenience store and introducing a friend to Umeboshi (pickled plum).
Thank you to both of you for doing this video!
I really think one of our YouTube family members should do a video teaching us how to make Onigiri!!! Maybe a collaboration video with with a bunch of you making different flavors?
If you know anything about me it would be that I LOVE Geisha!
They are what started my love for all things Japanese! I was looking up facts on them after reading a book about Geisha so that I could know what was real and what was put in the book to make it sell. I'm the type of person who likes to figure that out after all.
But from that my interest branched out over time and that was when I got my Pen-Pal and soul sister Sayuri-san! She has taught me so much about Japan and the Japanese Culture and I will forever be greatfull to her. We have been friends since 2001 and I don't think we will ever not be friends!
So now it's my turn... I'm going to share a video from +Rachel & Jun that will tell you a bit about Geisha... This is the parts that I couldn't find when I was young too!
Thank You soooo much for showing us how this works you guys! I would have never been able to figure this out without you!
Someday when I go to Japan I want to figure out if someone will help me to meet a Geisha!
OK... Because I still have to get kids to school I'm going to end this post here... I know it is short and simple but I hope you at least liked the information!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I shared!
OK... We have done a lot of throwback video days but I can't remember if we have done one with +Strawberry Mochi yet... Sooooo... Let's do one for her today!
First video up for her is this one....
I love it... I think that would be cool here.... Some people do this at parties and call them "Grab Bags" because you grab a bag and find out what's in it later... I wish it was a more common thing though!
Now let's have another video from her...
This one is from a few months later and it's pretty informative! I love seeing others tell us about going to school in Japan... Wish I knew you could go there like this when I was young! It's odd seeing a younger Kelly talk about her school... She wasn't afraid to say her opinions about it... Probably because she never thought she would be posting it on YouTube... I think it is a good thing to see how foreigners may see the schools but in my opinion the I think the bathrooms were better kept up than she seemed to thing lol... But then again I went to a school where kids took care of the school too... And so I can say with confidence that in some places in america we SUCK at cleaning when we are that young! I wish I could say otherwise!
Anyhow... We got off topic lol.... I'm going to end it here too since I'm not sure where to go from here... I hope you liked this time-capsule trip back to +Strawberry Mochi's past self!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I've shared!
It has been forever since I have introduced a new YouTube family member for us all to enjoy watching! But today is our lucky day! I found this person by chance when watching +Sharla in Japan and +Taylor R テイラー doing their Shaylor sleepover videos and watched her video on the sleepover too... Here she is... Let's welcome Olli CuppaTea to the family!!!
Here is a newer video she did... Hope you like it!
I want that flower in the cup thingy... Like more than I thought I did even though I wanted it a ton the first time I saw it! Actually.. Who am I kidding... I want all these things!!!!
OK... So now that you're interested in her... Here are some links for you to find and/or follow her!
She seems relatively new to the YouTube scene just like me so let's help her out by checking her out! If you like her content then be sure to subscribe!
Oh and don't forget to give a thumbs up if you like the videos you watch!
Those things are how both YouTube and the creator know you like what you are watching!
I'm going to end this post here for today... Hope you liked the post!
As always... Thanx for watching and reading what I've shared!
